INFRARED DETECTOR WITH THERMOELECTRONIC COOLER

摘要

PURPOSE: To efficiently cool a large infrared detector using a compact Peltier element by reflecting radiation heat entering the infrared detection from a cooling substrate. CONSTITUTION: An infrared detector 1 is sealed to a cooling part 3 of a Peltier element 2 mounted onto a cooling substrate 5, an infrared reflection surface 4 such as Au/Cr film is formed on the reverse side of the infrared detector 1 protruding from the cooling part 3, and a package 6 with an infrared window 7 and a terminal 8 is used for sealing.
