PURPOSE: To secure visual homogenization in addition to the numerical homogenization of luminance on an irradiation surface by restraining the shadow caused by direct light from a light source. CONSTITUTION: The inner surface 12b of a main body 12 in which the light source 14 is arranged is formed as a diffuse reflection surface where light is diffused in many directions by irregular reflection. A diffuse reflector 20 diffusing the light in many directions by the irregular reflection is formed as a light transmissive diffuse reflector having a transmitting surface 20a through which the light is transmitted and interposed between the light source 14 and a diffuse transmission plate 18(18-1 and 18-2). Many slits orthogonally crossed with the axial line of the light source 14 and separated at equal intervals in the axial direction of the light source are formed on the transmitting surface 20a of the diffuse reflector. |
