摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide a distance measuring equipment in which the distance to an object can be measured so long as a signal therefrom is present, even when a reflection wave from snow, fog, etc., is detected, by detecting reflection waves from a plurality of reflective objects for a same transmission wave. CONSTITUTION: An operating section 33 is driven 45 to emit light 39 and a laser light H reflected on an obstacle is subjected to voltage conversion 43 depending on the intensity before being inputted to a time measuring circuit 61. The circuit 61 detects the time differences among a plurality of reflection signals when they are present for the light H1 and stores the time differences as a multilap distance data in the operating section 33. Furthermore, the operating section 33 is driven 49 to scan 35 forward with the light H at a predetermined sweep angle and grouping the distance data. The shortest distance data (next to the longest data) is set as a first (second) data in case of a multilap data. When substantially identical near distance data are present within the entire area being scanned, a decision is made that a snowy or foggy state is prevailing and the second data is outputted as a distance to a target, otherwise the first data is outputted.</p>
