PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of repeatedly obtaining a good image. CONSTITUTION: As to this image forming device in which contact electrifying system is used; a body to be electrified is a photoreceptor having a photoreceptive layer including a charge generating material expressed by an expression on a conductive supporting body, an electrifying member is controlled in terms of a DC constant voltage (or constant current) in the case the electrifying member corresponds to the non-image forming area of the body to be electrified, DC current amount (voltage amount) in accordance with the layer thickness of the body to be electrified at the time is detected, and the electrifying member is controlled in terms of the DC constant voltage (or constant current) by the DC voltage (or current) in accordance with the detected DC current amount (or voltage amount) in the case the electrifying member corresponds to the image forming area of the body to be electrified. |
