PURPOSE: To improve reliability and to save labor for design by inclusively providing the abnormality processing means for each arithmetic means to normalize an abnormality processing function for safety to each arithmetic means. CONSTITUTION: A result calculating means 11 executes arithmetic processing based on the arithmetic result inputted from the host arithmetic means and transmits the arithmetic result to the low-order arithmetic means and based on the arithmetic processing or the arithmetic result due to the result calculating means, an arithmetic abnormality detecting means 12 detects arithmetic abnormality. When the arithmetic abnormality is detected in the high-order arithmetic means by the arithmetic abnormality detecting means 12, an input abnormality deciding means decides the input abnormality of the arithmetic result inputted to its own arithmetic means and when the arithmetic abnormality is detected by the arithmetic abnormality detecting means 12 or the input abnormality is decided by the input abnormality deciding means, an abnormality processing means 14 changes the arithmetic result transmitted from the result calculating means 11 corresponding to prescribed change contents. |
