<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate a pinch roller and a capstan motor thereby to make an apparatus compact and light-weight, by generally controlling running of a magnetic tape by means of a speed-controlling system and perfectly controlling by means of a phase-controlling system. CONSTITUTION: Signals from frequency generators 1, 2 of a speed-controlling system AA are taken to a feed reel A and a wind reel B, thereby to generate a signal of a predetermined count of pulses per one rotation of each reel. Each signal is converted to a voltage at a frequency-voltage converter 3, 4 and applied to an adder 5. A signal 5a of the sum of rotation frequencies of the reels A and B is compared with a speed reference signal 6b varied by the winding diameter of the reel A, B and the resulting speed error signal 6a is inputted to an adder 7. A phase-comparing means 13 of a phase-controlling system BB feeds to the adder 7 a phase error signal 13a indicating a relative positional error of a tape T and a magnetic head H1 , H2 which is obtained from outputs of band pass filters 11 and 12 centering frequencies F1 and F2 . The phase error signal 13a is added to the signal 6a, whereby a reel motor 15 is driven via a driving means 14. Accordingly, the apparatus can be controlled without a pinch roller or a capstan motor.</p> |
