PURPOSE: To provide the microcomputer which performs a fail-safe process before a program is hung up if the return address at the time of a return from a subroutine call has an unintended value owing to an alteration of the data in a stack area. CONSTITUTION: If a stack area inspection part 14 which inspects the stack area 12 on a RAM detects the destruction of the stack area 12, an arithmetic processing part 13 quits normal processing and performs the processing at the time of stack data destruction. |
