<p>PURPOSE: To obtain accurate input coordinate data by acquiring >=3 successive coordinate data in a period shorter than a noise period, detecting the mean value of data except the maximum and minimum values as noise-free data, and employing the data as coordinate data. CONSTITUTION: Analog coordinate data are inputted from the coordinate detection part of the coordinate input device 1 with liquid crystal display, constituted by laminating a touch panel and a liquid crystal display element in one body, to an A/D converter 2. The A/D converting circuit 2 inputs three coordinate data successively and converts their analog values into digital values. The maximum value and minimum value are removed from the coordinate data of those digital values and the intermediate value is detected as the noise-free data, which is employed as final coordinate data. Consequently, the accurate input coordinate data is obtained without requiring any specific parameter.</p> |
