PURPOSE: To provide a processor for optical fiber-picked-up image which easily discriminates a specific part of an optical fiber like a core and plainly discriminates whether the end face state of the optical fiber, the mutual connection state, or the like is good or not. CONSTITUTION: A pair of optical fibers have optical axes arranged in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the figure. A light source 2 like an LED is arranged in the horizontal direction orthogonal to these optical axes. First light 4 and second light 5 are magnified by a microscope 6, and their image is picked up by a camera 7 using a CCD or the like. The picture signal outputted from the camera 7 is inputted to an image processing part 9. This part 9 is controlled by a CPU 8 to specify an arbitrary part of optical fibers 1, and the image signal of this arbitrary specified part is emphasized and is outputted to a monitor 10, and the transmission image of optical fibers 1 is projected on the monitor 10. |
