PURPOSE: To produce a photoreceptor using a stable dispersion liq. maintaining crystal form. CONSTITUTION: When this electrophotographic photoreceptor with a photosensitive layer on the electrically conductive substrate is produced, oxytitanium phthalocyanine crystals having a distinct diffraction peak at 27.3 deg. Bragg angle (2θ±0.2 deg.) in the X-ray diffraction spectrum are subjected to dispersion treatment for 0.3-9hr dispersion time in the case of dispersion in a dispersive medium and a photosensitive layer is formed using the resultant dispersion liq.
