PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the subjective distribution effect of long conversation delay in a return signal path. SOLUTION: These AD converter 10 and DA converter execute a requested conversation at a higher sampling rate (64Fs, for instance) and a lower resolution (1-4 bits, for instance) than requested actual sampling speed (Fs) and resolution (16 bits, for instance). Oversampled low resolution signals are generated by oversampling input digital signals (for DA conversion) and decimated and requested output digital signals (for AD conversion) are generated. The oversampling or decimation filter 20 can be switched between two mode operations and different signal delay is applied by the filter. Thus, in a signal path for the return signals of an artist, the filter of short delay though low quality is used.
