PURPOSE: To improve operability at the time of inputting data by displaying read images and recognized frame images in respectively different display forms. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 10 for controlling the entire device accesses a RAM 11 and a ROM 12 and executes a document preparation processing and an image processing including frame recognition by the activation of a program corresponding to an input instruction. Then, the CPU 10 stores the image data of a paper sheet read by a scanner 25 in a line buffer 31 for every one scanning and then, recognizes the position and size, etc., of a frame entered on the paper sheet from the image data. At the time, the CPU 10 successively transfers the image data from the line buffer 31 to a page buffer 32, thins out the image data, makes a density thin (turning them to gray) and stores them in the page buffer 33 again. Then, paper sheet images (read images) are displayed in gray and the recognized frame is displayed in black. Thus, the operability of data input after the frame recognition is improved. |
