PURPOSE: To rationally calculate the prime cost of an apparel commodity regardless of the individual difference, the cloth type, etc., by calculating toe sewing length based on the dress pattern information and then choosing a calculation standard for the sewing processing cost against the sewing difficulty set by the sewing segment. CONSTITUTION: The information necessary for calculation of the estimated prime cost of an apparel commodity such as a calculation standard of the processing unit price is stored in a storage 204. The dress pattern information is stored in a storage 205 together with the information on the segments constructing the dress pattern. Then each process is carried out by an execution program stored in a storage of a computer 201 for calculation of the prime cost of the apparel commodity. In other words, a processing part 207 calculates the plain cloth cost based on the dress pattern information and a processing part 208 calculates the accessory cost based on the information on the use of accessories and stored in the storage 204. Furthermore a processing part 209 calculates the sewing length from the dress pattern information, chooses a calculation standard of the sewing cost in response to the sewing difficulty set by the sewing segments, and calculates the sewing processing cost. |
