A position-dependent waveform (WCi) is generated by generating a set of functions (f1(Il),...,fp(Il),g1(If),...,gr(If)) from position information (Il,If). A sub-set of functions (fnl(Il),...,fnq(Il),gnl(If),...,gns(If)) is selected from this set of functions (f1(Il),...,fp(Il),g1(If),...,gr(If)). Only selected functions associated with the sub-set of functions (fn1(Il),...,fnq(Il),gnl(If),...,gns(If)) are each multiplied by an associated coefficient (al,...,aq,bl,...,bs). The selected functions (fnl(Il),...,fnq(Il),gnl(If),...,gns(If)) multiplied by an associated coefficient (al,...,aq,bl,...,bs) are added to form the position-dependent waveform (WCi). |
