An electrical connector (10) with a holder (12, 14) made of insulating material, and a plurality of electrical conductors (34) in the form of resiliently deformable blades (32) each having a first bent contact end (34) for contacting one of the pads on the card (C), an intermediate portion (42) for fastening the blade (32) to the holder (12), and a second end (54) for connecting the blade (32) to a processing circuit. The second connecting end (54) of each blade (32) in a series of blades (32) comprises a connecting fork (54) capable of penetrating the insulator (68) on an electrical cable (66) for connecting the connector (10), and being placed in a connecting position in which it is in electrical contact with a wire conductor (70) of the cable (66), in accordance with the insulator-moving connection method, by bending the contact blades.
