PURPOSE: To facilitate operation for screen division and also facilitate for partial movement, partial copying, etc., of a document between divided screens. CONSTITUTION: This word processor device consists of a position detecting means 101 which detects a touched position on a display screen, a screen dividing means 102 which divides the screen by displaying a longitudinal axis or lateral axis at the position detected by the position detecting means 101, and an editing means 103 which edits elements between the divided screens, for example, copies or moves elements in a range specified in a divided screen to the other divided screen. |
