<p>PURPOSE: To make user's operability better and then improve the recognition rate by displaying a ruled line for alphabet input in an optional input frame and making an input position distinctive to a user. CONSTITUTION: The user when inputting English characters to an optional input frame 402 selects the display or erasure of the ruled line with a mode button 403. Then when the display of the mode button 403 is selected, the ruled line 40 for alphabet input is displayed in the input frame 402. According to the ruled line 404 for alphabet input, the English characters are inputted. While the ruled line 404 is displayed, not only English characters, but also HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) and KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) can be inputted and recognized. Consequently, the user's operability is improved and the recognition of English characters is improved.</p> |
