<p>PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable small-sized gas-insulated transformer which can make a large quantity of insulating gas to flow through its winding without increasing the capacity of a gas supplying device so that the winding can be cooled with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: Insulating pipes 2a are arranged on the inside and outside of a winding 100 composed of a plurality of sections 1 in the radial direction and gaps 4 having sufficiently large sizes for making an insulating gas to flow are formed between respective adjacent sections 1. In addition, a gap 13 is provided in the connecting sections of gas stopping collars 5 and the pipes 2a. Therefore, the insulating gas supplied from a gas supplying port 15 forms a gas flow 10 and most of the gas flow flows in the radial direction of the winding 100 through gaps 16b, 16b,..., but part of the gas flow passes upward through the gaps 4.</p> |
