<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a color toner excellent in environmental resistance and durability and giving a clear image free from fog and excellent in transparency by using a color toner obtd. by piece dyeing with a tricyanovinyl compd. CONSTITUTION: This color toner is a color toner obtd. by piece dyeing with a tricyanovinyl compd., e.g. a compd. represented by the formula, wherein B is p-phenylene which may have a substituent such as straight chain or branched chain alkyl, alkoxy, halogen such as F, Cl or Br or fluoroalkyl such as trifluoromethyl, each of R<1> and R<2> is H, alkyl which may have a substituent, allyl or phenyl which may have a substituent and R<1> may form a hetero cycle in combination with B and N or with R<2> and N.</p> |
