<p>PURPOSE: To attain a QOS evaluation and call reception control in a real time of the ATM multiplex control system applying call reception control by obtaining upper and lower boundaries in a probability distribution of arrival of cells in an ATM network. CONSTITUTION: The ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) multiplex control system guaranteeing UPC and QOS (service quality) is provided with a call reception control section 1, a multiplexer section 2, a control processing section 3, a RAM 4, a ROM 1, a ROM 2, and the control processing section 3 represents the arrival rate distribution of cells representing an expected value of the cell arrival rate per unit time in terms of probability distribution and upper and lower boundaries of the probability distribution are expressed in a binomial distribution or the convolution of the binomial distribution, and the binomial distribution is requantized to obtain an image of a frequency region, product of images in the frequency area is obtained to obtain the convolution of the probability distribution through one high speed Fourier inverse transformation thereby obtaining the upper and lower boundaries of the probability distribution.</p> |
