PURPOSE: To facilitate assembling and to provide high sealing performance by providing a coupling means including a special tab element for attaching a flexible sheet to a frame in a flap-shaped check valve, i.e., a pressure relief valve, for controlling the flow of air into a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A frame 12 having through-openings controlled by valve flaps 14, 16 and 18 is provided, and each of the flaps 14 to 18 is attached to the frame 12 along the first side of the opening to lie over the opening. That is, each of the valve flaps 14 to 18 supports a tab formed in each base end side part by inserting it into a slot 34 put through the frame 12. Each tab is made of an elastomer material, is provided with first and second expanded holding ribs disposed closely and adjacently to each other in each slot 34 in both sides of the frame 12, and a neck-like connecting part is provided between the two ribs. Thus, the attaching of the valve flap is carried out without any leakage of air. |
