<p>Seat (10) includes child-restraint apparatus (38). Seat (10) includes a seat bottom (14) having a front edge (16) and a back edge (18). A T-shaped bar (40) provides the child-restraint apparatus (38) and includes a post (42) having a base (48) mounted to seat bottom (14) and a tip (50). T-shaped bar (40) also includes a perpendicular cross member (44) appended to tip (50). Cross member (44) swings between a child-restraining position above seat bottom (14) and a down-out-of-the-way position below seat bottom (14). Base (48) pivots about a pivot axis (39) and cross member (44) is spaced-apart from pivot axis (39) to overlie legs of a child seated on seat bottom (14) when cross member (44) is in the child-restraining position.</p> |
