<p>A device for attaching a sight-protecting shield (40) or a pair of spectacles to a shadeless headpiece (5) or a headband. The device includes a single central rail (10) on the front surface of the headpiece (5) or headband, or under the front surface of an internal housing for the shield or spectacles located at the front of the headpiece or headband, a movable member (20) to which the shield and spectacles are attached being slidably fitted on or in said rail, and the rail (10) being no shorter than the shield or spectacles are wide. The rail arranged at the top of the wearer's forehead is suitably bent to fit the curvature of the headpiece (5) or headband in that area.</p> |
