<p>There is provided a solid detergent composition adapted for use in a laundry washing method containing a surfactant system having poor dispensing characteristics and a bleach system capable of providing organic peroxyacid bleach to a laundry wash solution and a non-three dimensional phyllosilicate mineral compound wherein siad organic peroxyacid bleach precursor compound or said preformed organic peroxyacid and said non-three dimensional phyllosilicate mineral compound are in close physical proximity within said composition. The composition is useful in the bleaching of stains from stained coloured fabrics. The non-three dimensional phyllosilicate mineral compound acts to inhibit 'patchy' damage to said fabrics during the stain bleaching process.</p> |
