<p>PURPOSE: To improve the design effects of a lyre body without spoiling acoustic characteristics by forming the top plate and bottom plate of the Taisho lyre by using straight-grained plate members which have straight-grain surfaces and forming the side wall plate of the lyre body by using a specific composite plate material. CONSTITUTION: The top plate 6 and bottom plate 7 of the lyre body fitted with plural strings are formed of the straight-grained plate materials which have the straight-grained surfaces 11, and the side wall plate 8 of the lyre body is formed of the composite plate material obtained by putting a 1st plate material 9, which has a straight-grained surface 11, and a 2nd plate material 10, which is stuck on the outer peripheral surface of the 1st plate material 9 and has an irregular natural-grain surface 12, one over the other, in one body. Consequently, the trouble that the sound is disordered by irregular grains at the time of a performance of the Taisho lyre is eliminated to make the sound characteristics of the lyre body homogeneous over the entire internal surface. Consequently, the sound quality at the time of the musical performance can be made good and stable and the monotoneousness of the external surface of the lyre body is eliminated to make the lyre body good-looking.</p> |
