PURPOSE: To stabilize and easily operate a compact electronic equipment at the time of setting up it by incorporating at least one of a power supply and a motor in the vicinity of a bottom in a body. CONSTITUTION: Four size D batteries as a power supply E for a tape printer 1 are arranged in the vicinity of a bottom in the equipment as a part of the internal constitution of the printer 1 and the center of gravity is arranged at a lower position as a whole. Thereby even when the equipment is put on an unstable book or the like, the equipment can stably and easily be operated and conveniently be used. When a motor or the like prepared for carrying out a printed tape or the like outputted from the equipment and having comparatively large weight out of the constitutional parts of the equipment is arranged in the vicinity of the bottom, a similar effect can be obtained.
