<p>PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for evacuation and obtain an article small in heat conductivity at the time of producing a vacuum heat insulating material with a flat plate-like molding as the heat insulating core. CONSTITUTION: A flat plate-like molding 1 is provided with an evacuation groove 2 or hole extending from the one end to the opposite end, the molding is placed into a gas-barrier, flexible container in such a manner that the one end thereof is positioned on the opening side of the container and the interior of the container is evacuated from the opening part, followed by its sealing. Since in this way the gas in the molding 1 is moved through the evacuation groove 2 or hole to the opening part, the air is removed rapidly and thoroughly from the interior.</p> |
