<p>PURPOSE: To provide an infrared detector, which exhibits the accurate detecting operation for a human body without report missing and erroneous reports even when the environment temperature around the human body becomes the vicinity of the temperature of the surface of the human body. CONSTITUTION: In the infrared detector 1, having an infrared heat sensor 2 which detects the infrared rays emitted from a human body, a counting circuit 3 which counts the number of the exceeding times when the levels of the detected signals of the infrared heat sensor 2 exceed a specified threshold value, and an output circuit 4 which sends out the human-body detection signal when the counted value of the counting circuit 3 becomes a specified preset value n (n is a positive integer), a temperature detecting sensor 5 which detects the environment temperature around the human body and an output control circuit 6 which decreases the specified preset value n of the output circuit 4 to the value lower than the preset value n when the result of the detection of the environment temperature around the human body obtained by the temperature detecting sensor 5 becomes the vicinity of the temperature of the surface of the human body, are provided.</p> |
