PURPOSE: To make the contact piece structure in the inside clearly visible and at the same time economically manufacture a body whose lower stage side or upper stage side is solely made to have a different design regarding a two- stage jack having upper and lower two plug insertion inlet parts. CONSTITUTION: Contact pieces 21, 22 for a plug so set as to correnspond to plug insertion speces communicated respectively with upper and lower plug insertion inlet parts and movable parts of switch contact piece mechanism 23, 24 are set to face to their plug insertion inlet parts from the upper side or the lower side of the plug insertion inlet parts 25. The end faces of the contact pieces 21, 22 for a plug and of the switch contact piece mechanism 23, 24 are set to face to an open part formed in a side face of a body 10, so that the shapes of these contact pieces, etc., can be visible through the open part. The upper stage part and the lower stage part are formed by respectively different forming dies.
