PURPOSE: To prevent an erroneous operation and increase operation items much more by changing the setting state related to the photographing operation of a camera according to the detected sight line position of a photographer. CONSTITUTION: A finder eyepiece part has a sight line detecting photoelectric element 1a for detecting in which part by a set display device 2 and a changing operation display device the sight line position of a photographer is situated, a beam splitter 1b, and a lighting device for lighting the eye ball 14 of the photographer. The reflected light from the photographer's eye ball 14 by the lighting device is guided to the sight line detecting photoelectric element 1a by the beam splitter 1b, and the sight line position of the photographer is detected by this reflected light. When it is detected that the sight line is fixed to any display within a changing operation display area, a CPU recognizes that this display is selected by the photographer, flashes this display, and executes the changing operation corresponding to this display. |
