The break-up practice round, as a projecting for a cannon with the external and internal ballistics character of standard ammunition, has at least two solid bodies (10,11) firmly inserted into the shell casing (6), with their spherical surfaces against each other. The shell casing (6) has a nominal fracture point (13), at right angles to the projectile axis (12), on the contact plane between the two bodies (10,11).
