Drinks can with insect protection device

The drinks can (1) has an insect protection device (7) located in the area of the can opening (3). The protection device is so made and arranged that the penetration by stinging insects, especially wasps, is prevented.The device is fitted on the upper side of the lid (2) and over the can opening. The device takes the form of a shield which does not interfere with the closure platelet (8); it can also take the form of a lattice below the can opening.
