The guttering cleaner has a vacuum unit that rests on the ground and a suction head that reaches into the guttering. The suction head is supported on a tubular mast. The suction unit (17) has wheels, and is connected to a power supply. The suction inlet (10) is connected to a vertical mast (6) formed of rigid plastic tube. The tube is held in the vertical position by supports (14) attached to the side of the suction unit, and having horizontal arms that attach the plastic tube to the supports. The top of the plastic tube carries a head (1) that extends over the lip of the guttering and reaches down into the bottom of the guttering (7). The head moves along the guttering as the suction unit is rolled along the ground.
