The base (12) for beacon stands, demarcation systems and other traffic devices has on its upper side one or more recesses (15 - 18) for receiving beacon tubes and/or pin-shaped or pipe-shaped sections of the traffic device concerned. At least one of the recesses (17; 18) has, at least on the upper side of the base (12), a longitudinal extent which is 1.5 to 2.5 times greater than its transverse extent. In the event of the presence of two such recesses (17; 18), they are expediently arranged in such a manner that the directions of their longitudinal extent are aligned at least approximately at right angles in relation to one another. <IMAGE> |
