<p>A color reversal element having a red sensitive layer containing a cyan dye forming coupler, a green sensitive layer containing a magenta dye forming coupler, and a blue sensitive layer containing a yellow dye forming coupler, the red, green and blue sensitive layers each having a speed >/= 120 as measured at a density of 0.3, a Dmax of >/=3.30 and a DELTA logE </= 1.85 measured from a density of 0.20 to 3.20, the Dmax and DELTA logE being measured following exposure and processing of the element. Daylight and tungsten balanced versions of the film are also provided. A method for processing such films and exposing them in electronic film writers is also provided. Film of the present invention allows a wide range of density values in an original film to be more faithfully reproduced and enable more faithful reproduction of colors recorded in the original scanned film. <IMAGE></p> |
