The device comprises a magnetic body contained within an insulating resin. On the rear surface of the device there is a fastening enabling it to be fastened to the body of the user. Fastening may be provided by means of a length of double-sided hooked pile fastener.It is intended that the magnetic field provided by the device is directed towards the top of the user's head. The device may be incorporated in a hat, or in a bracelet or an earring. It may alternatively be mounted near to the head of a bed.
