Process for the continuous purification of animal excrements in which all the matter is collected, is sieved in order to extract the solids therefrom, and the liquid effluent is subjected to purification by biological treatment with bacterial slurries or biological slurries, characterised in that the biological purification comprises a continuous succession of aeration and anoxia phases with recycling, the purified liquid being discharged after sedimentation.
