The invention relates to a device (IE) for identifying the parameters of a transmission path (S) without equalisation, particularly a controlled system, with I-Tn model or I-Tt model, a pulse-shaped signal (y) being applied to the input of the transmission path (S) in the open control loop and, at the same time, to its simulation model, and a reference step in magnitude being applied in the closed control loop. Output signals estimated with the aid of the simulation model are compared with measured signals (x) and the optimum parameters (p) are sought by minimising the deviations. Depending on these parameters (p), rules for setting a controller in accordance with the optimum amount are specified. The invention is used in adaptive controllers. <IMAGE> |
