<p>Salt-formers are bonded to solid materials during the combustion of fossil fuels or waste. Firstly, moisture is added to the fossile fuels or waste. Then basic materials, esp. CaCO3 or MgCO3 are added, as uniformly dispersed as possible. The fossil fuels or waste are allowed to stand to enable a complete neutrlisation reaction between salt-formers and basic materials, esp. in a predominantly closed container, in which a steam saturation condition is maintained. The mixt. is then combusted at a furnace bed temp. below the thermal dissociation temp. of the cpds. resulting from the basic material and the salt-formers. 3-10 wt.% of a liq. acid is added to the fossil fuels or the waste, prior to the addn. of the basic materials.</p> |
