PURPOSE: To produce an ink jet recording head reduced in the deformation of ink passages, excellent in the stability of bonding strength and easy and inexpensive to produce by using a noncrystalline thermoplastic resin material as a matrix. CONSTITUTION: In the production of an ink jet container part 1 including ink passages 4 by bonding a cavity plate 2 having ink passages 4 as recessed grooves and a flat vibration plate 3, the cavity plate and the vibration plate are composed of a noncrystalline thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyetherimide resin) and vapor of an org. solvent (e.g. chroloform) having compatibility with respect to the resin is condensed, for example, on the bonding surface 9 of the vibration plate to form a swollen layer with definite thickness on the bonding surface 9 and the cavity plate and the vibration plate are pressed and bonded through the swollen layer to be subjected to heating and drying treatment. |
