PURPOSE: To provide a novel method for easily and inexpensively producing a lightweight and tough building or furniture panel suitable for a wall material, a floor material or the top panel material of a table. CONSTITUTION: A cavity 19 for forming the surface panel part 2 of a panel is provided in one template of a mold and projections are provided on the inner surface of the cavity 19 at a plurality of places while a cavity 22 for forming a rear panel part is provided in the other template of the mold and projections 24 are provided on the inner surface of the cavity 22 at the positions opposed to the projections 21 provided in the cavity 19. A hollow parison 25 is held between the templates 16, 17 to be crushed at a plurality of places by both projections 21, 24 to be brought to a non-hollow state and air is blown into the other hollow region of the parison to apply blow molding to the parison. |
