BOBBIN CASE OF LOWER THREAD WINDING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To excellently accomplish thread hooking operation without using a lower thread guide support mechanism. CONSTITUTION: The tilt angleθ1 of a slit groove 8C to a bobbin case opening end part 8E where a lower thread 150 passes when hooked is made large and the movement of the lower thread 150 from a thread hook position 8B to a lower thread lead-out hole 8G is facilitated without the lower thread guide support mechanism such as a wiper mechanism, etc. Further, the position relation between the lower thread lead-out hole 8G and a hole 8H for a lower thread tension spring in the bobbin axial direction is so set that they are in level with each other or that the lower thread lead-out hole 8G is positioned more on the opposite opening end edge side of the bobbin case than the hole 8H for the lower thread tension spring; and then the lower thread 150 which is led to the lower thread lead-out hole 8G is easily led to the lower thread tension spring hole 8H as it is without using the lower thread guide support mechanism such as the wiper mechanism.
