ACTIVATION OF BETA-GLUCOCEREBROSIDASE

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve roughened skin by applying an external preparation for skin containing a monoglycosyl sphingolipid to the skin to readily activateβ-glucocerebrosidase in the epidermis. CONSTITUTION: An external preparation for skin such as lotion containing monoglycosyl sphingolipid (β-galactosylceramide orβ-glucosyl-ceramide) is applied to skin. The content of the monoglycosyl-sphingo, lipid in the preparation is preferably 0.005-5.0wt.% based on the total weight. The activation ofβ-glucocerebrosidase improves the formation of keratin layer permeation barrier to prevent skin roughening.
