PURPOSE: To improve easy to smooth texture, washing endurance and heat insulating property by setting METSUKE of a futon cotton and a relationship between a claw value of a futon mat and the METSUKE at specified values and a fiber-fiber static friction coefficient of a polyester fiber composing the futon cotton and an incremental rate of the fiber-fiber static friction coefficient before and after a specified frequency of washing at a specified value. CONSTITUTION: A futon mat is made to satisfy a relationship of claw value >=METSUKE×4×10<-3> with METSUKE of a futon cotton below 530g/m<2> . A polyester fiber-fiber static friction coefficientμs0 composing the futon cotton is set at 0.08-0.15 and an incremental rateμs10 /μs0 of the fiber-fiber static friction coefficient before and after 10 times of washing the futon mat at 2 or less. The use of the polyester fiber eliminates possible animal allergy and prevents asthma otherwise caused by dust while always enabling keeping of the futon mat clean with better washing endurance. When the fiber size is set at 0.7 denier to 5, a moderate bulkiness can be held to improve skin touch with greater softness. |
