<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a deinking agent capable of giving high-quality regenerated pulp of high whiteness with low residual ink, depositing no fatty acid crystal at normal temperatures, also not causing its separation/solidification or crystal deposition due to temperature variation. CONSTITUTION: This deinking agent for recycling waste paper consists of a liquid composition prepared by dissolving (A) a crystallization inhibitor, pref. a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester and (B) a fatty acid mixture, pref. 8-24C (esp. 12-18C) saturated fatty acids in (C) a nonionic surfactant. The amounts of the respective components to be used are as follows: A: 0.05-20wt.% based on the total amount of B and C, and the weight ratio B/C of (5:95) to (40:60). The polyhydric alcohol in the component A exemplified is e.g. (di)glycerol, a 9-90C polyglycerol, sucrose, sorbitan, sorbitol, and the fatty acid in the component A is e.g. a 12-22C saturated fatty acid, or a 16-12C unsaturated fatty acid. The component C is e.g. an adduct of a 2-4C alkylene oxide to an active hydrogen-bearing alcohol, amide or fatty acid, or a fatty acid esterified product thereof.</p> |
