PURPOSE: To provide a maintenance free ion water maker capable of accurately measuring, displaying and adjusting pH concn. and to wash a pH sensor easily within a short time. CONSTITUTION: In an ion water maker, a pH detection chamber 19 is provided so as to be branched from the emitting passage 12 provided to an electrolytic cell 7 and a pH sensor 22 and a pair of second electrode plates 20, 21 are arranged to the pH detection chamber 19. The pH sensor is washed with acidic water obtained by electrolyzing the electrolytic water in the pH detection chamber 19.
