PURPOSE: To provide a packaging device with a simple shape and favorable manufacturing property, of which the disassembly after usage is facile, and which can be easily handled and is superior in function to compensate, the shortage of strength of an external box. CONSTITUTION: An external box 1 of a laterally long hexahedron is made of a corrugated fiberboard. At the central part in the external box 1 which is apart from the laterally long front surface 7 and rear surface 8 with a specified interval respectively, a packaging space where an article 3 to be packaged is placed is formed of two cushioning members 2 which are inserted at the front and rear in the external box 1. The cushioning member 2 is constituted of a corrugated fiberboard folded part consisting of an internal surface 9 which partitions the packaging space, working surface 10 which comes into contact with an internal surface of the external box 1, being confronted with the internal surface 9, and of which the upper end becomes approx. the same surface of the upper end of the external box 1, and width surface which separates the internal surface 9 from the internal surface of the external box 1 toward the inside. Then, the article 3 to be packaged is placed in the packaging space. |
