PURPOSE: To print by a light emitting element array head having low resolution with high resolution by focusing and exposing at a position opposed to a light emitting element on a photosensibive medium between a lens and the medium, and electrically selecting the deviation of the focused position by a specific interval in the main scanning direction of an optical printer and the exposure of the position. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of light emitting elements are arranged at an interval of Nμm on a light emitting element array head 1, and a photosensitive medium 4 is formed oppositely to the head 1. A lens 2 is disposed between the head 1 and the medium 4, and focused position control means 3 for focusing and exposing at the position opposed to the element on the medium 4 to deviate the focused position by N/2μm in the main scanning direction of an optical printer to expose it is disposed between the lens 2 and the medium 4. Thus, even if the head 1 having low resolution is used, it can be printed with high resolution. |
