PURPOSE: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flame retardancy and heat resistance, no reduction in flame retardancy caused by an inorganic filler and no problem of toxicity. CONSTITUTION: This flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polypropylene, (B) 20-100 pts.wt. of a bis(pentabromophenyl)alkane such as bis(pentabromophenyl)ethane, (C) 5-30 pts.wt. of antimony trioxide and (D) an inorganic filler having 0.1-20μm average particle diameter such as talc or magnesium hydroxide.
