PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an affinity matrix for extracorporeal circulation of body liquid. SOLUTION: The affinity matrix includes (a) a solid fine particle carrier, (b) extraordinary affinity ligand and (c) a biocompatible polymer coating. The extraordinary affinity ligand (b) is combined with the solid fine particle carrier (a). The solid fine particles combined with the affinity ligand are coated with the biocompatible polymer of (c). The polymer coating is a one-piece membrane- typed coating. The membrane coating has a porous of which diameter of at least 20Å. The coating prevents fine particles from being filtered from the matrix.
